A W magazine revelou as capas e fotografias da sua edição especial de Outubro intitulada "The New Royals". Aos actores Halle Berry, Priyanka Chopra, Elle Fanning, Jodie Foster, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris Evans, Kit Harington, Ethan Hawke, Rami Malek, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Melissa Benoist, Sofia Coppola, Tye Sheridan juntam-se ainda a modelo Irina Shayk e o músico Kanye West. As fotografias são de Mario Sorrenti.

"This year, October also marks W’s first-ever his-and-hers fashion issue. The double issue spotlights a female cover subject on one side, and a male cover subject on the other.
